Quantum III Pearls Noir

The Qannati Quantum III Pearl Noir is inspired by the moment an oyster opens: a hush before the reveal, and then a scatter of pearls catching the light. At the base of the dial, a cluster of hand-set natural pearls gathers like a wave breaking, cupped by the sweeping curve of the case’s signature yin-yang composition.

The dial is cut from black mother-of-pearl, its smoky, iridescent grain shifting between charcoal and silver as it catches the light — a deliberate departure from the collection’s usual pale palette. Each pearl is individually selected and set by hand, so no two dials carry the same arrangement, and the crisp white mother-of-pearl subdial at the centre keeps the hour and minute hands legible against the darker backdrop.

Encased within the distinctive asymmetrical Quantum III silhouette, the piece is finished entirely in black, from the case to the alligator-embossed strap — a quiet, graphic counterpoint to the pearls’ natural luminosity. It is the most understated of the five, built for a wearer who prefers their art in monochrome.
